Not receiving any notifications

If you are not getting any notifications for text messages, please check your device’s notification settings as below.

  1. Open device’s Settings app > Notifications > Instanumber.
  2. Turn on the “Allow Notifications” and set others as desired.

Voice not being heard

If your voice is not getting heard, please check your device’s Microphone setting as below.

  1. Open the device’s Settings app > Privacy > Microphone.
  2. Find “Instnumber” from the list, and turn the switch to on.

Cannot hear voicemails

The Instanumber voicemails are played through your device’s speaker or headset. Please check the volume settings. On iPhone, please check that your phone is not set to silent as well.

How do I pay for the coins?

Payments for the coins are made using the Apple’s standard In-App Purchase system.

Coins are not showing up

The coins appear immediately to your account upon payments. If you saw the purchase success message but do not see it reflected on the balance, please contact us using the email link on the bottom of this page.

Turning off notification for a number

If you want to temporarily turn off notification for a specific number, tap on the number, and then tap on the number preferences button on the top right. On the “Preferences” page, configure “Incoming Calls” and “Text Notifications” settings as needed.

Not getting any caller ID information

There can be cases of caller ID feature not working if the calls are routed through the cellular network. In such case, please check and turn off the cellular network routing as below.

  1. Go to the main (first) page of Instanumber, and tap on the settings button on the top left.
  2. On the “Settings” page, tap on the “Use Carrier Network” and set it to off.
